-Top issues Rutgers students face
-Top issues college students face
-The rising cost of tuition
My two favorites are college athletics affects on students and the rising cost of tuition.
I believe they are both topics that I could make good points on and write in detail about. I have not decided which one I will go with yet and these topics are not set in stone. I may alter them a bit of create a new topic all together.
In class we discussed athletics, if I recall correctly, but the sources you found relate to the cost of college and admission standards. So I am a bit confused about your topic. Perhaps you are combining these to discuss how unfair the admissions and scholarships of athletes are compared to regular students? But I don't think that is going to work as a topic since most people informed on the subject of athletics see scholarships as an insufficient recompense for the time and labor that student athletes devote to the cause of college marketing. In fact, just this year schools were allowed to pay student athletes additional money, beyond scholarships, to help them (which might avoid the problems where poor students get together and go on a crime spree to make some money....)
ReplyDeleteYou need to clarify your topic some more to explain how the sources you sent work with it. Also: add the first blog to this blog.
